HOW A DAY OF DIVING BEGINS

The day starts with pickup at 2 different locations:

7.15 am at the EcoSea office by the Reef Resort
(Located between the Golden Lions and Serendipity beach)

7.30 am at EcoSea main office downtown (Located next to Mekong bank, between Canadia bank and Orange supermarket)




Yon Don't Need To Worry About Breakfast.
It's provided free of charge on the boat.
Also, you can have a cup of morning coffee or tea at our main office.


[DAY TRIP]
We either go to Koh Thas or Koh Rung Saloem, depending on weather conditions and visibility. Along the way we’ll pass several small islands.
[OVERNIGHT TRIP]
We go to the island of Koh Tang or Koh Rung Saloem, depending on whether you’ve booked a liveaboard trip or an overnight trip to our resort.
For those who want to snorkel there will be plenty of time to do so at the dive sites!!
A TYPICAL DAY TRIP
Koh Thas

We will arrive at Koh Thas around 9.30 am.
The island has a little lighthouse but is a deserted island with no people living there. We will do our first dive at one of the 6 diving sites around the island.

Between dives there will be seasonal fruits and snacks available on the boat. While we relax on the boat, the captain will take us to another dive site. Here we will do our second dive.

Around 11.30 am we will enjoy a Khmer style lunch and we will head back to the port. We will be back in Sihanoukville around 2.00 pm.
Koh Rung Saloem
We will arrive at Koh Rung Saloem about 10.30 am.
We will do our first dive at one of the many diving sites around the island.

Around 12.00 am we will enjoy our Khmer style lunch close to one of the islands many beaches. While we relax on the boat, the captain will take us to another dive site. Here we will do our second dive. Seasonal fruits and snacks are always available on the boat.

After the 2nd dive we will head back to the port. We will be back in Sihanoukville around 4.00 pm to 4.30 pm.
A TYPICAL OVERNIGHT TRIP
Koh Tang liveaboard


Day 1

It will take us about 4 hours to get to Koh Tang. We will have lunch on the boat about 1 hour before we reach the first dive site. After the first dive, while we relax on the boat, the captain will take us to another dive site to do our second dive.

Between dives seasonal fruits and snacks will be available on the boat. At the end of the day, we will move to a site for night diving and plunge into the exciting darkness together after a thorough briefing by your divemaster.

After we have completed the night dive, dinner will be served, and you can enjoy a cold beer while you retell your diving stories of the day.

We of course bring plenty of mattresses, sheets, pillows and blankets for everyone’s comfort during the star filled night.
 


Day 2

We will start the day early and get in a morning dive, before having a hearty breakfast on the boat. Before the dive, you can enjoy light food, coffee, tea, and fruits.
Depending on the visibility we might stay and explore the site or move on to somewhere else.

Once you’ve been picked up with your divemaster you will do the last two dives and have lunch on our diveboat, exactly as the day before, although you’ll dive at different places of course.

We’ll all be back in Sihanoukville around 4.00 pm - 4.30 pm.
Koh Rung Saloem resort


Day 1

You will arrive at Koh Rung Saloem around 10.30 am. with our normal diveboat running a regular daytrip. You will do your first and second dive from this boat, at one of the many diving excellent sites around the island.

Around 12.00 am you will enjoy our Khmer style lunch, and while you relax on the boat, the captain will take us to another dive site to do your second dive. Seasonal fruits and snacks are always available on the boat.
After the 2nd dive you and a divemaster will get dropped off at our jetty on Koh Rung Saloem, and the boat will return to the mainland.
When night falls, you’ll do an evening or night dive from a long tail boat with your divemaster, after you’ve had a thorough briefing about the particulars of this dive. After the dive, you head back to the resort and enjoy a homecooked dinner or barbeque, and enjoy the warmth of a blazing bonfire and some cold soft drinks or beers.

You’ll most likely retire to your bungalow when you your leaden eyes keep closing by themselves.
 
Day 2

We will start the day early and get in a morning dive either shore diving or from a longtail boat, before returning to the resort to have a hearty breakfast. After breakfast it’s time to pack your bags, as the dive boat will shortly return to the island from the main land.

Once you’ve been picked up with your divemaster you will do the last two dives and have lunch on our diveboat, exactly as the day before, although you’ll dive at different places of course.

We’ll all be back in Sihanoukville around 4.00 pm - 4.30 pm.
